Instructions for preparing a file for giclée printing

This manual is intended for people who are comfortable using photo editing programs and want to prepare a file for printing as professionally as possible.

If you're unfamiliar with preparing files for printing, don't worry, you don't need to configure anything special. Our platform was designed to make the entire process simple and intuitive. Simply upload an image to the configurator, select the paper, format, and other print parameters. The system will guide you through the entire process step by step.

The following recommendations are additional information for people who want to prepare the file themselves in a graphics program in advance.

  • File size
Prepare the file in the target print size, at a 1:1 scale.
Example: If you order a 50 x 70 cm print, the file should also be 50 x 70 cm.
  • Spad
    Prepare the file without bleed.
  • Resolution
Recommended resolution: 300 ppi at target size.
  • Color space
Prepare the file in RGB space. Most commonly used:
    – Adobe RGB (1998)
